Homeplace Life Day - September 10, 2011
Explore the Monroe family farm and experience the life of young Bill. With costumed guides, crafts of era, old fashioned snacks and more - lots to see and do.
Gospel Sunday - September 11, 2011
Attend service at the Rosine Methodist Church where Bill Monroe’s funeral was held. Enjoy an afternoon of some sweet gospel music at the Rosine City Park.
Bluegrass Hee-Haw – September 12, 2011
Enjoy an evening of Bluegrass music and an outdoor Hee-Haw performance by the Ohio County Courthouse Players at Jerusalem Ridge.
Birthday Party on the Lawn - September 13, 2011
Birthday Have a piece of the biggest Bluegrass Birthday Cake ever to celebrate Bill’s 100th birthday. See who’s there to blow out the candles and jam the traditional way. Relay for Life of Ohio County - Ohio County Park
Relay For Life is the nationwide signature fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society.
